The youth squad is the future of every club. You can invest different amount, higher is this amount and greater will be the number of athletes that arrive from the youth squad. The skills, the care and all the other characteristics will be random, the invested amount has a direct effect only about the number of athletes that will enter your Hatchery during the week.

Each new athlete enters in your Hatchery where you can decide to definitively promote him in your club or not. In the Hatchery the athlete cannot enter competitions and he cannot be sold: he can have a coach and can be trained 50% faster than the athletes in the first squad, also without be enrolled in meetings. The manager will have to decide his way: a faster training than in the first squad or a promotion in the first squad with more fans and experience.

The Hatchery allows to hold at the most 5 athletes, when it is full and a new athlete arrives, the one with the lower mood in the Hatchery will automatically go away, without any warning. So it's important to leave always some available space for the new arrivals. Every new season, when the athletes become one year older, the athletes 18 y.o. will be automatically promoted in the first squad. So, be careful about the number of the athletes in the first squad during the change of season: some of them could leave your team.

The investment of 1.000 euro assures the arrival of one athlete, with 4.000 two arrives, with 10.000 three, and finally with the maximum investment of 20.000 four athletes will arrive during the week.

The athletes arrived from the Youth Squad can be from 14 to 17 years old, and they can have maximum 11 in only one base skill. It can happen to have a more complete athlete with a few high skills but without having any skill at the maximum value of 11.
