When an athlete completes an event he also gets an useful result for him and/or ofr his club.

An athlete couldn't complete an event due to many factors. Mood, age and form are the skills of an athlete that cause not to complete an event.

With lower levels of form or mood, the athlete couldn't present himself (absent), or he couldn't start (in race events) or place (in contests). With slightly higher levels of form or mood he could retire himself or be disqualified. Moreover an athlete with low attitude, even if he has got low levels of form and/or mood, will have greater possibilities to complete an event compared with an athlete with high attitude.

In every case, but disqualification, the athlete could injure himself more or less seriously and not to be available for some day. The fact he entered too many events, and he hasn't been able to get rid of the tiredness to the best during the weeks, could affect this facet.

An athlete who can't complete an event, doesn't get training for that competition. If he has already raced (or could race once more) during the week, he could easily get training.
