Maxithlon history

The development of Maxithlon started in August 2005 improving upon a previous project, that was also created by Ned. Despite highs and lows the development was ongoing for 8 months. Beginning in the middle of October 2005 there was something like a beta-testing, that was accomplished by some pioneers like Tsunami and Torrone that, with their ideas, signals and discussions, improved the game in a more selective and operative way.
The launch date was fixed for the middle of February 2006 but, in order to add some ideas born in January 2006, we decided together with the beta testers, to postpone the launch at 10th May 2006.
During the first 6 months of life, the game, with continual development, had some 1000 users involved in Italy.
The international launch with the opening of the first foreign country was scheduled for February 2007.
