The development of Maxithlon started since August 2005, borning over a previous project, that was also created by Ned. Between highs and lows the development was going on deeply for 8 months. Since the middle of october 2005 there was something like a beta-testing, that was accomplished by some pioneers like Tsunami and Torrone that, with their ideas, signals and discussions, are improving the game in a more selective and operative way.
The launch date was fixed for the middle of February 2006, but further to some ideas born in January 2006, we decided together with betatesters, to postpone the launch at 10th May 2006.
During the first 6 months of life, the game, with an endless development, has involved 1000 users in Italy.
The abroad launch with the opening of the first foreign country is currently scheduled for February 2007.
