When you click on a your own athlete you can put him in the Market through the box where you have to insert the minimum price from which the auction will start. From that moment the athlete will stay in the market for three days and, during that period, each club can make a bid. If no club make a bid equal or higher the minimum price, the athlete will stay in your team.
Insertion cost
To insert an athlete in the market has a cost that is a percentage of the auction price fixed by the owner when he decide to sell his athlete. This percentage is variable in base to that price and will follow this logic: from 0 to 9.999 the insertion cost will be 0; from 10.000 to 250.000 le percentage fo the insertion cost will be calculated with the ratio (auction price/25.000); above 250.000 the percentage of the insertion cost will be fixed at 10% of the price.

Market retreat
The owners of the athletes can't bid on their athletes. By the way, they have the possibility to retreat an athlete from the market within the first 18 hours from the beginning of the auction buying him immediately and retreating him from the market.
Sale gain
According to how long the athlete has been in your club, you will receive a percentage of the highest bid. The percentage is 50% for the athletes that you've just bought and it increase by the 0.5% for each day of permanence in your club before you decided to sell him, until a maximum of 90% of the sale price after 80 days from the purchase. For each sale a percentage of 5% is destined to the club that has promoted the athlete from its youth squad. For an athlete you promoted (the gain percentage begins by 90%) you will receive at most the 95% of the sale price.
Notes
Each time a club makes a bid for an athlete of yours, you will be warned by a status message.
In the case the athlete you sold had a individual sporsor, the sponsorship contract will end.
Another particular situation is when the sold athlete has received a convocation for the Individual National Championship: if the athlete is already enrolled to the event, then he will lose the possibility to partecipate, otherwise he will keep the right to partecipate.
Research and purchase
In the page mercato you can choose the different search parameters from which you will get all the athletes that accomplish the requested parameters. Here you will be able to select the athlete you are interested in and make a bid through the appropriate box. The minimum auction raising is the 5% of the present price, with a minimum of 1000€.
If another club's bid is higher than yours, you will be warned through a status message.
It can take up to 45 minutes from the deadline of the auction to have the new athlete enlisted in your club.
Each transfer decrease the attachment to the club, and it can cause a decrease of the club sponsors.
