The Events are obviously the central point of the whole activity of your club. In an event your athletes can learn, they can win or lose, and thereby your club can also add some penny to its own funds. A correct management of the annual calendar, and therefore of the participations of your athletes, it is the only base that you have for getting valid results to individual or social level.

There are official and non-official events, and they are:

You can also create your own event, and you can use various parameters that will allow you to create an event exactly like you want. You must be careful to balance well the various organizational parameters so that other teams would like to participate. You can organize at the most one meeting for Young and Master categories and two for the Senior ones.

Meetings organized by the clubs can have variable costs of organization depending on the created event, and the cost for the registration of athlete chosen by the organizer.

It's possible to enroll the athletes to a competition up to half an hour before it begins, i.e. half an hour before the first event starts.

At each completed event every athlete will have his or her result, that can be the distance or the time achieved in the competition. In case he (or she) did not finished the competition, the reason for not getting a mark is is given as specified in Results.

Hosting Official Competitions and Applying using Candidature

There are two types of offical events - the National League which lasts all season, and then one day events (championships)

The official National League events are organized by MFTF (Maxithlon Federation of Track and Field) and therefore they won't have organizational costs for the user that host it, and there aren't costs for enrolling athletes.

The official one day Maxithlon events will be automatically organized at regional and national and international level. The organizer will be chosen at the beginning of the season, depending on who has applied for candidature of the event. This is accessed bny clicking on your arena page, followed by clicking on *candidature*. Whoever has applied for the event, their arenas ranking and their arenas *interest* are taken into account to decide who will get to host the event. An arena with a high ranking and high *interest* has a higher probability to be selected compared with another with a lower ranking and lower *interest*. These events all have a candidature cost, which applies to any club that would like to host the competition. There is no cost to athletes enrolment.

Candidature Cost Regional - Club/Inidividual Championships ($500) National - Club/Individual Championships ($2500) International - World Junior/Masters Games ($15000) International - World Championships/Olympics ($?)

Below is the official press release for candidature and *interest in your arena*, including more details on rules and regulations, about how long the delay will be from when you can host similar types of events:

There are some new qualifications needed to apply a candidature: 1) It will be impossible to apply candidatures every season for the same events. It will need 4 seasons to reapply a candidature for regional events, 6 seasons for national events, 8 seasons for continental events and 10 seasons for the World Games. 2) To apply a condidature for the national, continental and world events you will need at least the same arena requirements to organize non official meeting of the same type (i.e. the press room of the right dimension). 3) Every candidature will have a cost. You will have to pay 500 to apply a candiddature for regional events, 2500 for national events, 7500 for continental events and 15000 for the World Games and the Olympic Games.

Moreover, to assign an event the system will consider a new parameter of the arena, called "organizability", that will mesure the interest of the system in your arena and therefore the availability to assign an event to it. This parameter will have a 10-position scale (E, D, C, B-, B, B+, A-, A, A+, A++). The value of the parameter will tend to an automatic growth and it will take around 10 weeks (one season) to grow from one level to the one immediately superior.

When the system will assign an event to an arena the value will immediately drop depending on the kind of the assigned event: 10 levels for the World Games, 8 levels for continental events, 6 levels for national events and 4 levels for regional events.

How will the system choose the best arena between the candidatures? It will examine both the ranking of the arena and this new parameter. So you need to have high values for both the parameters to organize an official event and, most of all, you will need to analyze the other candidates to avoid a loss of opportunity and of money. The clubs that are able to organize the bigger world events will be not interested in loosing points organizing regional events, whilst the small clubs will usually have the chance to apply their candidatures only for the small events.

In this way we add a new dimension of analysis for all the managers that want to try to organize these big official events in their arena.

Spectators

Obviously your competition will have a certain public at the arena to enjoy some healthy athletics. Crowded events, with great athletes and great fans that are organized by a club with a lot of fans in beautiful days will be surely get more attention than others. The maximum number of spectators that the arena can entertain is given by the capacity.
