Coaches

For good growth of skills an athlete needs the support of a good coach.
Every coach has a training program that shows what percentage of training he will dedicate to the improvement of each skill (the sum bing 100). Naturally, the higher the percentage, the less time the athletes will take to improve in that skill. Like the athletes the coaches also have specialties, but in this case the specialty can never be changed. Only the coaches that have the same specialty can train athletes of that spicialty; for example, sprinters can only be trained by sprinting coaches. When a Coach begins to follow an athlete that athlete will develop his abilities week after week.
The higher the ability a coach has in a skill, the greater will be the training received by the athlete, during the weekly training.
You can assign your athletes to coaches in two different ways. You can go on the coach page and you can see, at the end of the page, the list of all the athletes with the same specialty, along with the age, the care, and other skills. Use the check boxes to assign them to that coach. Or you can go to the page of each athlete and from there choose through the pull down menu on the right the coach to associate him with.
When the number of athletes followed by one coach increases, the time that he can dedicate to each athletes is reduced and the efficiency of the training is therefore reduced. A 1-1 relationship between coach and athlete is obviously desirable but you can only hire a limited number of coaches for your club.
At the act of foundation 6 coaches will be assigned, one for each specialty, to your club. The maximum number of possible coaches in the club is currently 13.
The training is also influenced to a small degree by the care of the caoach.
By clicking on "Buy a coach" on the coaches page you can buy a new coach. The level is the price that you are willing to pay to recruit. The more money you pay, the higher the probability that you will have a coach with high skills in that ability. But his level will also affect his weekly wage. To buy a 50.000€ coach doesn't only mean you have to pay that price to recruit him, but it also means that you will be paying an expensive wage to him each week because of the greater ability of the coach.
You have to choose the primary Skill, the skill that the coach should be best at, and also the Specialty that allows him to train athletes in the skills of specialty.
You can buy only one coach each week. It isn't possible to buy a coach during the first week in the game because the six base coaches for the team have already been assigned.
The ability of each coach will fall during time, independently of his age, so it is neccessary to monitor any decrease in skills each week so that you will know when to replace them.
