For a good growth of an athlete it is surely necessary support him with a good coach.
Every coach has his training program that shows what percentage of the training is dedicate to the improvement of one skill (the sum must be 100). Naturally higher is the percentage, less time the athletes will take to improve in that skill. Like the athletes also the coaches have specialty, but in this case specialty can never be changed. Only the coaches that have one determined specialty can train athletes of the same specialty therefore, for instance, athletes sprinters can be trained only by the coaches sprinters. A Coach can begin to follow an athlete, in a way to develop his abilities week after week.
Higher will be the value of the coach in the skill trained higher will be the training received by the athlete, during the weekly training.
You can assign athletes in two different ways. In the first one, you have to go on the coach page and you can see, at the end of the page, the list of all the athletes with show specialties, the age, the care, and all the other skills, use the check boxes to assign them. The second method, slower, is to go in the page of the athlete and from there choose through the pull down menu on the right the coach and associate him. When the number of athletes followed by one coach increase, the time that he can dedicate for each athletes reduce and also the efficiency of the training reduce. A relationship 1-1 among coach and athlete is surely desirable, but it can be a true bleeding for the funds of your club maintain a coach for every athlete.
At the act of foundation 6 coaches will be assigned, one for specialty, the maximum number of possible coaches in the club is 15.
The training is also influenced in a minimum part from the care of the caoach.
In the page of the coaches clicking on "Buy a coach" you can buy a new coach. The level is the price that you pay, more money you pay, more probabilities you have that the ability of the coach in the skills is high, but it will be high also the weekly wage to pay him. To buy a 50.000€ coach, doesn't only mean to pay that price to buy him, but also it means to pay and expensive wage each week that is connected to the great ability of the coach. You have to choose then the primary Skill, the skill that the coach should have higher, and finally the Specialty that allows him to train athletes in the skills of specialty.
You can buy only a coach for week and, during the first week in the game, it isn't possible to buy any coach because the six base coaches for the team have already been assigned.
The ability of each coach will fall during the time, indipendently by his age. It's possible to see the falling every change of the week.
