The attitude with that an athlete attends an event is determined by the attitude specified at the enrolling. There are three types of attitude with that is possible to attend an event:

High attitude
the athlete will try to do his best to get the result as high as possible, using more energy than normal and risking more; the result will often be better compared with the other types of attitude, but the falling of the form after the event will be greater and will increase the risk of injuring or retiring the athlete;
Normal attitude
the athlete will attend according to his possibility, without overforcing to research the best performance, but keeping a certain level of attitude;
Low attitude
the athlete will attend under his possibility but, at the same time, he will save his energies and take a smaller risk; the achieved results will be lower compared with the other attitudes, but the falling of the form will be smaller and also the risk of injuring or retiring will be smaller.
Do not compete
the athlete won't take part to the event, won't get experience and won't get the training; it's useful in case of afterthoughts about his enrollment.

After the enrolling of an athlete in a event you will be able to modify the attitude until the closing of the enrollment using the pull down menu in the enrollment page of the event. The last selected attitude will be the one the athlete keep in the event.
